Listening to the radio one minute a day can have a positive impact on your children.

Eastern Michigan University and WWJ Newsradio 950 have created Education Minute, offering educational tips and advice to help parents complement and extend the learning their children do in school. Education Minute will air daily on WWJ, starting April 7, at 9:22 a.m., 12:23 p.m.; 5:40 p.m., and 9:53 p.m.

Daily topics covered will be: Math - Mondays; Technology - Tuesdays; Writing and Reading - Wednesdays; Science - Thursdays; Learning Beyond the Walls - Fridays.

Each week we will feature a different age focus ranging from pre-kindergarten to college.
