Motor City Comic Con
Buy, sell and trade comic books from the early golden age right up to present day. Classic TV cars will on display, plus a costume contest, art contest with prizes, and ANIME movies will play all day. Friday through Sunday at Rock Financial Showplace.
Mozart's Magic Flute
The Arbor Opera Theater and Marygrove College perform a "modernized" version of Mozart's operatic masterpiece. Set in the now demolished J.L. Hudson building in downtown Detroit during the 1960s and performed in English, this Magic Flute presents ordinary mannequins coming to life.

Aerial Combat Over Macomb County
The Radio Control Club of Detroit, a non – profit local group of model aircraft enthusiasts, will be hosting a radio control model air show. The Great Lakes Combat Championships will see as many as six model aircraft of various types airborne at one time, screaming around the sky attempting to cut each other's 30 feet long paper tail.
For the Love of Glass
This year's Glass Invitational features over 20 acclaimed artists at Ariana Gallery. Artists include Debra May, Tom Philabaum, Scott Bayless, Ed Branson, Brian Russell and Mark Vandenberg.
