Hiring in Region, State to be Slow, Manpower Finds
Hiring in the Detroit region and Michigan overall is expected to be sluggish in the fourth quarter, according to the latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey.

In Ann Arbor, the outlook was a bit better. There, 22 percent said they planned to add to payrolls, 62 percent planned no change and 17 percent plan employment cuts. That created a net employment outlook of 4 percent.
