State School Superintendent Mike Flanagan


Mike Flanagan was appointed State Superintendent of Public Instruction by the State Board of Education on May 18, 2005. He directs the Michigan Department of Education; chairs the State Board of Education; and advises the State Board of Education, the Governor, and the state Legislature regarding public education in Michigan.  Flanagan has been a local school superintendent, regional superintendent, and served as the Executive Director of the statewide associations that represent Michigan public school superintendents and intermediate school districts in the state.

SCHOOL BUS DRIVER
MIKE FLANAGAN HAS ROCKS IN HIS HEAD I AM NOT SAYING THIS TO PROTECT MY JOB I'M READY TO RETIRE,HE MUST NOT HAVE A CLUE HOW MANY CHILDREN WOULD NOT EVEN MAKE IT TO SCHOOL.THERE ARE SO MANY CHILDREN IN SINGLE FAMILY HOMES AND IF COMES DOWN TO WORKING AND PUTTING FOOD ON THE TABLE OR LOOSING YOUR JOB TO TRANSPORT YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL.ALSO CAN YOU IMAGINE THE DROP OUT RATE THEN HE SAY'S THIS IS NOT POLITICAL BULL HE'S USING THE CHILDREN AS A PAWN BECAUSE HE WANT TO GET HIS HANDS ON THE STATE EMPLOYEE'S RETIREMENT FUND HE COULD NOT CARE LESS ABOUT THERE EDUCATION.HE SUGEST PRIVATE BUS COMPANY'S DOSE HE RELIZE MOST PUBLIC SCHOOL BUS DRIVER'S LIVE IN THE COMMUINTY AND CARE ABOUT THESE CHILDEN'S SAFTEY NOT JUST THE ALL MIGHTY DOLLAR AND KICK BACKS.I COULDN'T TELL YOU IF HE'S REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT BUT I SURE CAN TELL YOU HE HAS NO COMMON SENSE.WHAT BETTER WAY TO GET THINGS YOU WANT THEN TO USE KID'S AS A BARGAINING CHIP
